Dear Confreres and Consoeurs,

The Grand Commandery of the South has selected the Bastion Foundation (www.JoinBastion.org), a multi-dimensional veterans service organization in New Orleans, as their recipient for this event and all proceeds raised by items donated by the Order will benefit the Bastion Foundation. Representatives of the Bastion Foundation will be at the event to talk about their great work, and we have met with their CEO on several occasions about this. This will be an outstanding opportunity for the Order of St. Lazarus and the Grand Priory of America to be showcased in Super Bowl publicity in New Orleans and around the world, and even better is that the veterans and their families that the Bastion Foundation serves will be the true benefactors of this remarkable first of a kind event during Super Bowl week.
